The Arçonnay judokas were on all fronts during the weekend of October 19 and 20.
On Saturday, the national minimal tournament took place in Cormelles-le-Royal in Calvados. The club had five participants.
Among the women, Ninon Beaussart (-48) and Loélie Lejard (-63) lost their two fights due to lack of experience. Maël Dominé (-38) passed his qualifications perfectly. Unfortunately he falls against stronger players in the final table. In repechage, a small careless mistake caused him to lose while he was fighting.
More success for Julien Porteboeuf in the same category since he finished as a medalist. After qualifying for the final phase, he lost as soon as he entered the table. Recovered, he had three victories and won a nice bronze medal in this national tournament.
Milo Transon-Huet in the under 66 kg category does the job in qualifications. In the quarter-finals, he lost to a stronger opponent. Unable to put the right tactics in place, he also lost in the repechage. A great attitude from the entire small group during this competition
comments the club.
His little sister was in Nogent-sur-Oise for the national cadet excellence tournament. Mila Roche (-44) wins her first match. She lost to a choke in the semi-final. In place 3, Mila is unable to win and still finds herself at the foot of the podium.
