The 2024 finalists of the Golden Boy award, given to the best young football player of the year, have been announced. National stars Arda Güler and Kenan Yıldız were also among the finalists.
The 2024 finalists of Golden Boy, organized every year by Italy’s well-established sports newspaper Tuttosport, have been announced.
National football player Arda Güler, who plays for Real Madrid, and national football player Kenan Yıldız, who plays for Juventus, also found a place in the 25-person finalist list. While both players were featured in the 20-person final list determined by the jury, 5 players were selected by the main sponsor of the event and the 25-person finalist list was completed.

50 international journalists will vote in the process of determining Golden Boy 2024. Each journalist will be able to vote for 5 football players. The player chosen by a journalist in the first place will receive 10 points, the second place will receive 7 points, the third place will receive 5 points, the fourth place will receive 3 points and the fifth place will receive 1 point.
The winner will be determined as a result of the scoring.
ARDA GÜLER IS ALSO A CANDIDATE FOR KOPA TROPHY
Arda Güler, who plays for Real Madrid, was also nominated for the Kopa Trophy, which is given to the best under-21 football player of the year within the scope of the Ballon d’Or awards organized by France Football.
