Arenas is among the top three in the league at the cost of sending Subiza into the relegation spots to Third Federation in a match clearly dominated by the Getxo team and which resulted in a header from Ibarrondo. Subiza was the victim of an opponent who played one of the best games of the season, controlling possession of the ball and preventing César Monasterio’s pupils from crossing the dividing line with the ball. Furthermore, the play on the wings by Collado and Zabala generated a lot of danger, with crosses that forced Rafa Fernández to intervene to clear.

Gobela’s team did not take more than six minutes to test the Navarrese team’s goalkeeper with a crossed left foot shot from Manex that ended up being stopped in two halves. Minutes later, Collado’s cross was finished off by Uzkudun and again Rafa Fernández, who was the best on his team, was able to prevent the goal. At minute 37, Paul advanced with the ball under control and, seeing that no Subiza defender came out to cover him, he scored a great goal with a shot from distance.
The script changed when César Monasterio brought on Guijarro, whose contribution when it came to putting pressure on the defense and looking for more dangerous combinations his team appreciated. Even so, Subiza was not able to control the match. Thus, on a series of occasions for Arenas, the second goal came, in a header from Ibarrondo after a cross from Zabala.
