Violent argument yesterday in a building in via Togliatti, in Nuoro, between two neighbors, which culminated in him being admitted to intensive care. Gianni Fancello, 56 years old, in a clear state of alcoholic alteration, hit his neighbor Giampaolo Porcu, ten years younger, with a baseball bat after a heated argument linked to old misunderstandings, according to what was reconstructed by the flying squad.
Porcu, injured in the head, was urgently transported to San Francesco di Nuoro and discharged with a prognosis of ten days. However, a few hours later, it was Fancello himself who ended up in the same hospital: struck by a sudden illness, he lost consciousness and is now hospitalized in critical conditions in the intensive care unit. The attacker will have to answer for injuries on the loose, while the case remains under investigation to clarify the details of an affair that has left the condominiums of the “building of the displaced” deeply shaken.
