Another central element of the works is sportwith a tribute to the long tradition of baseball, cycling and football that animate the life of the country. There is also a reference to the marine worldin which planet Earth arises from the breath of a whale, indicating the origin of our life. Plays of bright colours, among which red and blue stand out, the distinctive colors of Godo’s sports teams, blend with the geometric shapes to evoke the dynamism of the underpass and attract the traveller’s gaze.
In the end, the typical elements of the railway station are depicted: the suitcase, the stationmaster’s cap, the ticket, the paddle and the whistle, in memory of the arrival of the first train in Godo in 1863, an event that marked the beginning of a new era of connection and development for the community.
This muralcreated with the collaboration of the RFI Company, it follows the one created five years ago in the underpass of the Russi station. “The Artej Association enthusiastically joined the project – admits the president Walter Reggiani – as we believe that street art is an excellent way to fight the degradation and abandonment of certain realities”.
