ATEEZ JAPAN 4TH SINGLE “Birthday” has been selected as the ending theme song for “WOWOW NBA Basketball” 2024-25 season! Comments from members have also arrived!
WOWOW will broadcast and distribute the world’s top basketball league, the NBA (2024-25 season), which begins on Wednesday, October 23rd. The ending theme song will be performed by ATEEZ as they did last season, and their JAPAN 4TH SINGLE “Birthday” has been decided.
ATEEZ is an eight-member Korean boy group that debuted in South Korea in 2018 and in Japan at the end of 2019. They boast global popularity for their high-quality dance performances that emphasize each member’s individual style, as well as their unique concepts and songs. The second full-length album “THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL” released on December 1, 2023 ranked first on the American “Billboard 200” and ranked No. 1 on the “Official Album Chart” in the UK. It is the only 4th generation model to rank in 2nd place. The group’s 10th mini-album “GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1”, which was subsequently released, also received attention from all over the world, ranking high on charts in the US, UK, Japan, and other countries.
In Japan, all seats for the 2-day performance held at Saitama Super Arena in February of this year were sold out. The event was a success, captivating the audience with its wonderful stage composition and spectacular performance. Since then, they have been active in Japan, appearing on music programs and advertising, and in August of this year, they appeared on “SUMMER SONIC 2024”, which excited a large audience.
WOWOW will be broadcasting the NBA 2024-25 season every day. Two Lakers games, to which Rui Hachimura belongs, will be delivered every week. In addition, “Rui Hachimura scheduled to appear Suns vs. Lakers” on Saturday, October 26th will be broadcast and distributed for free.
