Recently featured on Spanish radio Zero Wave to discuss the upcoming retirement of Rafael Nadal, whom he has been coaching since 2017, Carlos Moya used very strong words when asked about his short-term plans.
“I’m going to go through a period of mourning in terms of work because something is going to break. With Rafa, we have known each other since childhood. The only way to feel something like this would be to train a son.”explained with great emotion the former world number 1 who therefore does not plan to train another player in the near future.
