In the wonderful interview given to As, Rafael Nadal really takes the time to explain everything and in particular the process which leads you to make the decision to stop. Rafa even talks about Nole by making a little prediction.

« I think it is human that Novak, even though he is still healthy, because he is old and it is logical that the clock takes its toll on all of us and that once Federer is gone, once I leaves, that in the end we were his two great rivals, at some point he will also have a little mental breakdown and find the reason to withdraw. This is what happens to everyone. And Novak is good enough to, if healthy, remain competitive at the highest level and aim to win the biggest tournaments. And if he continues to be happy doing what he does, he will keep it. If at some point everything he has to do no longer nourishes him enough to have a chance of continuing to be at the highest level, then he will take a step aside, that’s what I believe.”
