Below is a look at the tier list of the best hitters in Backyard Baseball 1997. These rankings are mainly based on the secret statistics that we will have available by clicking on the link in this sentence. There are some decisions that need to be made based on personal experience as well.

Keep in mind that Amir Khan, the Weber sisters, Maria Luna, Marky Dubois, and Sally Doubs all have major boosts in certain situations. You can see them here.

Again, some of this is subjective as there are some terrible swings and players like Kawaguchi are remembered more fondly than shown here. Vicki got a big boost particularly in the 2001 and 2003 games.
