The Italian event that will award on Sunday 27th opened today in Chiari
October the Italian youth titles in four categories: Junior, Under 17,
Under 15 e Under 13.
In the 107 matches played today, all the round of 32 games were played
final that they started to thin out the medals towards the road that
will lead to discover the 20 different podiums and will award the title to teams.
There were few surprises today with some top seeds
abandoned the board prematurely. In particular in the under 13 Heidi
Gramm (ASV Uberetsch) who lost in two sets (21-12; 21-3) against Lina
Goegele (ASV Mals) and Matthias Renner (ASV Mals) defeated in three sets
(18-21: 21-17; 21-17) and Philipp Kubicek (SSV Bozen). In the Under category
17 coup by Francesco De Stefani (ASV Mals) who overcomes in two sets
(21-17; 21-18) the top seed 3/4 of the seeding Alessandro Gimorri (Genoa
BC). Also the last seed to leave the Under 19 draw
of Genova BC with Alex Bianchi who was overcome in three sets (15-21;
21-17; 21-11) by Filippo Tarabusi (Modena Badminton).
Tomorrow it will be the turn of the round of 16 which will involve the 7 courts of the
Chiari Sports Hall with 147.
The 2024 Italian Junior and Under Championships are sponsored by Sport e
