He has more than 15 years of experience as a teacher in the field of education and twice as many years as a trainer.
How great is it to offer a badminton trainer course based on your own club potential, players and/or novice trainers/supervisors. Well here is the opportunity to follow this in 5 course days in Oss.
In this document all the details are listed and I assume that the enthusiasm is just as great and enthusiastic as the previous season. The course places will be allocated in order of registrations.

After the successful trainer training in mid-March/April 2024 with the participation of no fewer than 15 students, it is now time to focus on the 2025 course. How wonderful it is to train interested parties from your own club environment to become a badminton trainer!
Participants
There is currently already interest from possibly 5 participants. There is room for a maximum of 15 participants in total. The announcement comes early in the 2024/2025 season, but experience teaches us to inventory and plan in time.
Course dates
The course dates are scheduled for the following Sundays:
- March: 9, 23
- April: 6
- Mei: 4, 18
After an inventory and if there is sufficient participation, the course dates will in principle become operational and I can request the sports hall.
Times:
- Start: 9:00 am (theory part), 12:30 pm (practical part)
- End: 15.30 u
Location: Sports Hall Ussenstelt, Looveltlaan 54 in Oss
Course topics
The course covers, among other things:
- Sharing information about the development from child to adult
- Teaching/training according to Gelder’s didactic model
- Basic techniques in communication and leadership
- Divide badminton techniques into running and hitting skills
- Translating badminton tactics to singles, doubles and mixed doubles
- Translate physical components and incorporate them into exercise forms
- Translate seasonal planning into macro and meso planning
- Create lesson plans for each training
- Providing lessons/training to both youth and senior players
- Scouting players
- Coaching competition-oriented situations
- Supervising and directing assistants
Participant contribution
Costs: €130,-
This includes: 15 hours of theory (including theory book), coffee and tea in the morning, 15 hours of practice (including shuttles and room rental).

- September/november 2024: Inventory participants
- December 2024: Announcement of course dates, intake and settlement of participant contributions
- January 2025: Discuss/record accommodations
- February 2025: What’s Next on the Table (WVTTK)
- March 2025: Start of course
