Basketball (BCL): out of breath, the SQBB gives in in the last act against Tenerife

For thirty minutes, the SQBB held off the big favorite of the Basketball Champions Leagueimposing their pace and dominating the game against Tenerife.

But in the final quarter, Julien Mahé’s team, limited in rotations on the outside positions, stalled at the most crucial moment. Short of offensive solutions, the Axonais however forced Tenerife to raise their level of play to overcome a suffocating and well-established defense.

In these last ten minutes, Tim Abromaitis (14 points in the last act) and his teammates orchestrated a real collective recital, ultimately leaving the SQBB without answers.

However, Saint-Quentin has nothing to be ashamed of: during three quarters, they proved that they could face the best teams in Europe, eye to eye, and pose real challenges to the most feared contenders in the competition.
