The A2 basketball championship continues at a rapid pace. With Sunday’s victory against Torino, the trail of positive results continues for Pallacanestro Cantù, which thus achieved its third consecutive victory. Three days after the last challenge, she is ready to return to the parquet again, this time at the Pala AGSM AIM, at 8.30 pm on Wednesday 16 October. Verona, currently at four points and fresh from a home victory over Cividale, is the new opponent of the blue and whites.

For the fifth year, coach Alessandro Ramagli is on the Veronese bench. The team is of the highest level, being able to rely on a mix of experience and youth.

Commenting on the match on the eve of the match was coach Nicola Brienza, who declared: “It will be an extremely complicated match against one of the many excellent teams in A2. Verona is an important club, which has built a long and deep roster. Cannon and Pullen are two top-level Americans for this category, while among the Italians there are several younger but highly prospective players, such as Esposito, Faggian and Udom. They have many qualities and many technical-tactical weapons to put us and all the other teams in this championship in difficulty, even more so because all this is placed in the hands of an excellent coach like Alessandro Ramagli, who knows this championship well and knows how to win it and will be able to make this group grow as best as possible.”

Great confidence also for his boys. In fact, he underlined: “We are excited and happy for these three victories and for how we are carrying forward our growth path”.
