Basketball (Fiba Europe Cup): Le Portel travels to Bulgaria for its third match

Le Portel travels to Bulgaria this Tuesday to face Rilski Sportist (kick-off at 6:15 p.m.) in their third Fiba Europe Cup group match. Defeated in their first match (66-63 at Kalev) and winners of their second meeting (104-73 against Alba Fehervar), Eric Girard’s men currently occupy second place in their group. Rilski Sportist, last with two defeats, must win to maintain a chance of continuing the adventure beyond the first phase. If successful, the Portelois could take a small option with a view to qualification. The winners of each group will automatically qualify for the next round. The six best runners-up from the ten pools will join them to make up four pools of four.
