ESSM Le Portel won (80-60) this Tuesday evening in Bulgaria, for the third day of the Fiba Europe Cup group stage.
Eric Girard’s players were always in the lead and definitely widened the gap on Rilski Sportist during the last quarter. With two victories in three matches, the Portelois are in second place in Group F at the end of the first legs.
The next meeting, the reception of the leader Kalev, could be decisive with a view to qualification. The winners of each pool will automatically qualify for the next round while the six best runners-up from the ten pools will join them to form four pools of four.
