The fast of Basketreggio (0) and Pallacanestro Reggiolo (0) continues in Regional Division 1. The two Reggio Emilia teams remain at a standstill even after the second day, recovering as many Kappao in their respective away games: the city team returns from Modena (4) with a net 84-61 behind them, despite Infante’s 12 points and Lasagni’s 11. The home team ran away already in the first half, which closed at +13, and then decisively extended their lead during the second half. Things aren’t any better in Reggiolo, playing in Parma with Magik (4): it’s 24-15 in the second quarter that clears the way for the Ducali, after the first 10′ ended at 17 all. Neri and El Ibrahimi, authors of 16 and 15 points respectively, were not enough to avoid a heavy deficit, which saw the Ducali prevail 81-57.
The opportunity for redemption for Freddi’s men will arrive on Friday in the match at PalaMagnani with the other bottom team Medolla, while Basketreggio will receive Magik; the highlight, however, will be the derby between Basket Jolly and Correggio.
