After their defeat against Saint-Jory, the senior boys had to recover on the floor of Toulouse Cheminots Marengo Sports. They did it well by relying on their strong point, defense, and regaining their effectiveness in attack. Facing the red lantern, they won largely (78-38), a success to be confirmed on Saturday evening against Moissac-Castelsarrasin, who will have other arguments to put forward (match at 8 p.m. at Soleilha).
The girls continue
Traveling to Castres on Sunday, David Rabier’s daughters scored a second convincing success (51-36). A victory built from the first quarter before the match was balanced thereafter. As a result of a very choppy schedule, they will not return to the courts until November 17 in Carmaux.
Soon the verdict for young people
The third day of brewing resulted in results that David Rabier judges to be “generally in line with forecasts”.
Of the five teams entered, four should actually qualify in the Region with a special mention to the U15 boys who should be found in R2. The U13s are well on their way to playing in R3 and the U18s (clear winners in Albi 92-46) will know on Saturday after a final triangular.
For girls, the U18s will compete in the Regional 3 championship.
