TIJUANA.- The Baja California Archery team welcomed Luis Jiménez as part of the coaching staff and joins Wendy Guerrero and Luis Alfaro, the latter coordinator of the discipline, in the preparation of the Baja Californian athletes for future competitions.
“The objective here is to achieve more medals, that is what we talked about with Alfaro, to be among the three best programs in Mexico, for this we will work with the boys on intensities with volumes in Recurve, as well as maximize everyone’s level,” said Jiménez .
“Having a third coach right at the beginning of the strong season is very important since it will allow more attention to be given to the athletes and with this the results should be different,” Alfaro said about the arrival of the Central American coach.
Jiménez’s career stands out, which includes having been part of the national teams of both Colombia and El Salvador, nations that have become a benchmark for the discipline in Latin America.
The Baja Californian team has the objective of surpassing the 32 medals achieved in the last CONADE 2024 Nationals.
