For the clash against the XV de la Rose on Saturday at Twickenham, New Zealand is fielding its best team.
Often lined up at full-back during the Rugby Championship, Beauden Barrett will start at the opening of a New Zealand team which returns to its squad to face England on Saturday at Twickenham, after its big victory in Japan last week.
Only four of the fifteen players who started during the success in Yokohama (64-19) were renewed by All Blacks coach Scott Robertson.
The three titular Barrett brothers
In addition to Beauden and Jordie Barrett, who regains his place at center, their brother Scott Barrett is back on the second line and regains the captaincy.
The prolific Will Jordan, scorer of four tries during the Rugby Championship, will line up at full back. Mark Tele’a and Caleb Clarke will occupy the wings. Starting against Japan, Sam Cane keeps his place in the third row and will play alongside Wallace Sititi and Ardie Savea.
During the July summer tour of New Zealand, the All Blacks beat the English twice, 16-15 and 24-17.
“Even though we have already met England twice this year, both teams are different to those who met in New Zealand in July”warned Robertson.
After their meeting at Twickenham, the All Blacks will continue their European tour to Ireland on November 8, France on November 16 and Italy on November 23.
