There remain three undefeated teams in the NBA. I Boston Celtics win one of the big matches of the night, the high-flying challenge in the east with the Milwaukee Bucks, 119 to 108; a less than sparkling Jason Tatum (15 points with 6/16 shooting) leaves room for Jaylen Brown, protagonist with 30 points, supported by 28 from Payton’s bench Pritchard with 8 triples. Third defeat in a row for Antetokounmpo and his team.
The other undefeated team, together with the Oklahoma City Thunder, they are the Cleveland Cavaliers: nice comeback victory over New York Knicks per 104-110with still an excellent Darius Garland on the shields with 34 points of which 15 in the last field. Jalen Brunson stuttered, with 21 points but 8/24 shooting. The following are no longer part of this group Los Angeles Lakers: after a lightning start, the Los Angelians are caught up by the Phoenix Sunswho win their third match of the season with i 33 points from Booker and 30 from Durant; Bad evening for LeBron James, with 11 points and 3/14 shooting: he’s human too.
First victory of the season for the Denver Nuggets, who need extra time to get the better of the Toronto Raptors, up by 15 points at the start of the second half thanks to Scottie Barnes’ almost triple double (21 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists plus 5 steals) and Jakop Poetl’s 16+19. The 2023 champions, however, get away with Jamal Murray who scores the equalizer with 4 tenths left while Nikola Jokic takes over in extra time, finishing with 40. The Sacramento Kings are also unblocked, who with Fox’s 24 and DeRozan’s 23 win comfortably against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Dallas Mavericks are also ok, beating the Utah Jazz 110-102 at home. although Luka Doncic doesn’t have a stellar evening shooting (15 points and 5/22), Irving (23) and Thompson (18) do the lion’s share of the scoring. However, the bad thing should be noted injury to Jazz forward Taylor Hendricksleft on a stretcher after breaking his fibula and dislocating his ankle.
Very interesting challenges also in the East: a Orlando the scene is all for Paolo Banchero, who drags the Magic to victory over the Indiana Pacers with 50 points, the youngest in the history of the franchise and just one assist away from a triple double (13 rebounds and 9 assists for him). Tyrese Haliburton also came close, with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists, but Indiana is struggling more than expected with just one win in four games. They also rejoice Miami Heat, who win easily over the derelict Detroit Pistons 106-98; anonymous game for Simone Fontecchio, 6 points with 2/9 overall from the field to which he adds four rebounds.
The Washington Wizards move on to Atlanta with Kyle Kuzma’s 25 points and Jordan Poole’s 26 in the challenge between the first two choices of the latest NBA Draft: Alex Sarr and Zaccharie Risacher don’t particularly show off. The Houston Rockets instead win the second match of the season over the San Antonio Spurs, limiting the Spurs’ comeback thanks to Jalen Green’s 36, while the Chicago Bulls are pirates on the field of the Memphis Grizzlies.
