Brasileirão Standings Update: Impact of Flamengo’s Recent Victory on the League Table

Palmeiras, Fortaleza, São Paulo and Fluminense stumbled in the round, which saw Flamengo win

For a very short time, the start of the 31st round of the Brasileirão was not perfect for Flamengo. At Maracanã, Flamengo put pressure on Juventude from start to finish and won 4-2, goals from Michael, Gabigol, Arrascaeta and Gonzalo Plata. With the result, Mengão jumped to 54 points and reduced the difference between Palmeiras and Fortaleza, who faced each other in São Paulo.
