The Swedish 24-year-old thrives against the Premier League dominant, to say the least.
The numbers speak for themselves.
During his time at Tottenham, Dejan Kulusevski has faced Manchester City on seven occasions and recorded seven points – three goals and four assists. Two of the latter came last night when Tottenham defeated City 2-1 in the league cup.
It was the first time this season that Manchester City lost a game.
– Honestly, it doesn’t matter, says Dejan Kulusevski.
He continues:
– We can be happy tonight, but from tomorrow the full focus is on this weekend’s match against Aston Villa.
Kulusevski is praised
Dejan Kulusevski first played Timo Werner to make it 1-0 early in the first half with a precise pass from the right wing, then Pape Matar Sarr made it 2-0 a couple of minutes later.
And for that he is praised.
Among other things, Kulusevski was named player of the match, an award he received from teammate Timo Werner.
Football London gives the Swedish star a nine in rating.

Pep’s answer about Kulusevski

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has previously praised Dejan Kulusevski and his way of playing football. After yesterday’s loss, the coach was asked if the Swede reminds him of Kevin De Bruyne.
Then Guardiola put his foot down.
– No. Nobody is like Kevin. When he plays at his highest ability… the things he does then, they can’t be done by anyone else.
