Bronny scores his first basket at his home
Bronny scored his first professional basket in the NBA, under the moved eyes of dad LeBron. King James’ eldest son was born and raised in Cleveland and saw his father establish himself with the Cavaliers jersey, dreaming of one day being able to do the same. Despite the Lakers‘ defeat, Bronny’s basket will remain in history not so much for its value within the game, but for all the meanings it carries with it. The Cavs honored the return of LeBron and Bronny’s first time with a welcome sign dedicated to both of them and then with a tribute video staged during a timeout in which we see actions of the father and moments of the little one in the Cavs era.
After the match, father and son spoke at a press conference, describing all their emotion in returning home: «It was a dream come true for meBronny said. I was still in ‘game mode’ when I scored the basket, so I didn’t really realize it in the game. But I felt good afterwards».
LeBron added: «It has a special meaning that it happened here. We didn’t plan for it to go like this, it just happened. He had an opportunity to score on my assist in the first game, but God moves through mysterious ways».
