The Executive Secretariat of the State Public Security System (Sesesp), through the Control, Command, Communications, Computing, Coordination and Intelligence Center (C5i), activated a special video surveillance operation, on the occasion of the World Cup Final Archery, in Tlaxcala.
To do this, the security unit attached to the government of Tlaxcala deployed its cutting-edge police technology, such as facial recognition cameras, video surveillance, drones, the C5i Mobile, security bands and metal detector arches.
The executive secretary, Maximino Hernández Pulido, reported that the particular order of operations consists of implementing a series of activities focused on collaborating with the general security strategy, in order to preserve social order.
To this end, he commented that preventive and rapid response measures will be implemented from the C5i in Tlaxcala, in order to protect citizens and guarantee social peace, through the Emergency lines 9-1-1, 089 and the emergency system. video surveillance.
He added that, as their main mission, they will promote the personal and property security of athletes, coaches, tourists and the general public at the 2024 Archery World Cup through coordinated actions between institutions of the three levels of government.
The strategy
Hernández Pulido indicated that the security strategy by the C5i begins this Wednesday the 16th and concludes until October 21, where actions will be established with the support and coordination of technology.
In addition to the usual services, such as 911, 089 and video surveillance, he highlighted that the C5i will establish supervision actions and mission-critical communications points (radio communication and telecommunications network).
In addition to this, video surveillance will be reinforced with facial recognition technology and the flight of drones, as well as devices for physical security, such as Metal Detector Arches and X-Ray Strips, located at the main entrances to the first square of the city.
Simultaneously and with the aim of providing comprehensive coverage, the strategy will be coordinated with the Municipal Command Centers interconnected to the C5i, so that, through all the cameras that make up the video surveillance system, preventive and follow-up monitoring is carried out. throughout the state.
Finally, as part of the Operation Plan, the C5i Mobile will be placed in a strategic location, in order to expand surveillance coverage, as well as communications.
