Goodbye to Dr Marco Longoni, highly esteemed doctor in Cabiate and with a past as a football player. Longoni, 76 years old, leaves behind his wife Cristina, his children Carlo and Claudia with Matteo and his grandchildren Leonardo and Gregorio.
Goodbye to Doctor Longoni, the memory: “He was always available”
The president of Pallacanestro Cabiate remembers him fondly, Giovanni Sironi and the historic leader Carlo Allievi. Sironi states: “Dr. Longoni was a footballer and a great AC Milan fan. He became passionate about basketball thanks to his son Carlo and then his daughter Claudia, an exemplary parent. With us he became a manager. He was always objective in his decisions.” Allievi also has words of great sympathy: “He was with us for a good part of the life of Pallacanestro Cabiate, as a simple parent, as a manager and then as a doctor, always present, always available, always with respect and never intrusive”. His funeral was celebrated on Monday.
