Agreement signed between the University of Basilicata and the Italian Paralympic Committee
A conference on the promotion of sport for people with disabilities will be held in Potenza on 25 October, with the participation of representatives of Unibas and the Italian Paralympic Committee.
The “Disability, Sport, Study” conference will be held on Friday 25 October at the Macchia Romana university campus in Potenza, on the occasion of the presentation of the framework agreement signed between the University of Basilicata and the Italian Paralympic Committee (CIP) . The agreement aims to promote sporting activity among students with disabilities who attend the university, launching innovative collaborations.
The event will begin with institutional greetings from the Rector of Unibas, Ignazio Marcello Mancini, the General Director Marco Porzionate and the President of CIP Basilicata, Gerardo Zandolino. This will be followed by speeches by industry experts, including Arianna Mainardi of the CIP, Francesco Faraldo, coach of the Paralympic Judo national team, and Donato Telesca, Paralympic athlete ranked third at the Paris Paralympics. The conference will conclude with a round table and a demonstration of sporting activities, including table football and judo.
