According to reports ESPNorganization and player have reached an agreement for him to extend his contract for four years and a total of 54 million dollars.
Despite not making headlines, since those from the capital of the United States have been in the background in the NBA for years, the reality is that the 25-year-old forward has done a solid job during the three years he has been on the team. Thus, in the 2023-24 season he averaged 13.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2 assists in 25.8 minutes per night. Additionally, he made 38.3 percent of his attempted three-pointers.
Although the Wizards have warned that the reconstruction has just begun, this contract for Kispert makes it clear that they have him for it and that, therefore, the pieces they will move in principle will be different. And we say in principle because no one can guarantee that the 25-year-old player will not be transferred at some point.
