He Atlético Echagüe Club became champion of the Provincial Senior Volleyball League in the women’s branch, after an exciting weekend at the Luis Butta Stadium. The First Division team showed its best version by winning the three games played, including an epic final against The Harmony of Columbusin which they came back from 0-2 in sets to end up winning 3-2, with sets of 25-27, 19-25, 25-21, 25-20 and 15-9.

Sky Davidcaptain of Echagueexpressed his happiness after the title Elonce: “It was a tremendous joy, apart from playing at home, our club. We trained a lot all year to achieve this, it was very nice and even more so with our entire family.”.

Regarding the comeback, he recalled: “We were losing 2-0, we were very tired, our minds were playing against us. But in the third set something happened, we all stood up and said ‘that’s it’, we won the third, the fourth and the fifth”.
