TC Castelnaudary shines in competition with decisive victories and prepares for the quarter-finals.
Saturday afternoon, in the 3rd series of Ladies Challenge, TC Castelnaudary traveled to TC Saint-Georges in Narbonne. In singles, Pauline Lobel lost while Samantha Doya won. In doubles, the Chaurian pair suffered a defeat, and the final score was 2-1 for Narbonne.
Sunday, for the last day of the group stage in the 3rd series mixed cup, TC Castelnaudary faced Limoux in the Haute Vallée de l’Aude. In the men’s singles, Rémi Fiocco won his match, but Thomas Alcacer was beaten. Samantha Doya wins in the women’s singles. In the men’s doubles, Jérôme Julia and Jean-Pierre Sole lost, but in the mixed doubles, Pauline Lobel and Thomas Alcacer secured the victory. Final score: 3-2 for Castelnaudary, thus ending their journey.

In the 4th series, TC Lauragais visited the Chauriens. William Marande wins in the men’s singles, Anca Brinzam is beaten. In mixed doubles, Yohan Corne and Bianca Brinzam lost, but Gabriel Delavalette and Alexis Dalloux won their men’s doubles. Final score: 2-2 draw, and first place for Castelnaudary, undefeated with 4 wins and 1 draw. Next meeting: quarter-final on November 10.
