After last weekend in the Cantabria Super Cup where the JNB Club won two medals thanks to Diego Gayol (Gold) and Covadonga Fernández (bronze), this weekend it was the Vigo Super Cup.
Vigo has been the scene of a remarkable display of skill and determination, where the competitors of the Noreña-Berrón Judo Club left an impressive mark.
The tournament, which once again brought together the best judokas in the country, witnessed a series of outstanding performances that underline the high level of the team in these national events.
On this occasion, the Noreña-Berrón team returns with a silver medal, led by Covadonga Fernández, which together with last week’s bronze will surely place it among the first in the National Ranking of the category. The medal was a reflection of the hard work and dedication that the judoka shows in training.
In addition to the silver medal, several club competitors earned two fifth-place finishes, a feat that highlights the depth of talent on the team and their ability to compete at the highest level.
A seventh place finish was also achieved, showing the diversity of skills and competitive spirit of the athletes.
Highlight the performances of the rest of the team members who once again also showed a very high level, this time remaining without medals, but with the certainty that they will arrive in the near future.
The team’s coaches note: “We are extremely proud of our judokas. Each of them has shown exceptional commitment and competed with heart and courage. These results are a testament to their effort and dedication.”
The results obtained in this Super Cup not only celebrate individual achievements, but also inspire the entire Noreña-Berrón Club to continue improving themselves and reaching new heights. With these successes, the team looks to the future with the determination to continue growing and improving in each tournament.
