Eli Iserbyt was able to get off the bike early in the Exact Cross Beringen. The Belgian crashed together with Ryan Kamp and became frustrated. He expressed this frustration by stomping on Ryan Kamp’s wheel, taking him off course. After the Belgian got out, he immediately spoke to him Sporza. “Happens in the heat of battle,” says Iserbyt.

“My response was unnecessary. It happens in the heat of battle,” the Belgian looks back on the affair with the Dutch competitor. “It is something that has been going on from previous seasons. He cuts back more often, even now. I realized afterwards that it was not wise. The stomping was more of a response to a verbal response from Ryan himself. But my action was not necessary,” the Belgian concludes.

The two gentlemen have been in the team together in the past, but seem to have put those days behind them. The uproar resulted in both men having a false start to the cyclo-cross season. While Eli Iserbyt will not receive a ranking, Ryan Kamp fell far back in the results.
