Erik ten Hag has caused a big surprise in Manchester United‘s line-up. The Dutch manager chooses to put Noussair Mazraoui in the number 10 position, and that leads to much surprise from former midfielder Paul Scholes.
Manchester United will take on Fenerbahçe in the Europa League on Thursday evening. Ten Hag chooses, among other things, to put Bruno Fernandes on the bench and let Mazraoui take over the position.
“We put Mazraoui in 10th position,” Ten Hag explains. “At Ajax I sometimes let him play there too. He is able to fulfill this task correctly. He can be very valuable in pressuring,” said the coach.
