As he prepares to begin his NBA season with the Los Angeles Clippers in a few days, the man who announced his international retirement after winning his seventh medal with the Blues in Paris, NICHOLAS BATUM was acclaimed by the delegates during the broadcast of a video retracing his career with the French team.

At the heart of Olympic preparation since his appointment as National Technical Director-General Director of the FFBB in January 2018, ALAIN CONTENSOUX also received the Robert Busnel-Yvan Mainini Trophy. Under his leadership, French basketball won five Olympic medals in Tokyo then Paris.
Beforehand, the FFBB had presented Roosters to various leaders and volunteers involved in French basketball for many years. A basketball which, during the 2023/24 season, broke its record with 765,909 licensees.
