Within the framework of the fourth session of Sports Days (the course of the late Mohamed Jamal Eddine), and under the supervision of the Royal Moroccan Volleyball University, the Oasis Sports Association in Figig is organizing a regional training course to train coaches in volleyball and beach volleyball, during the period from 23 to 27 October 2024 in Figig, With the partnership and support of the East Region Council, the East Region Agency, the Figig Regional Council, the Figig Local Council, and private supporters.
This regional training course is led by international experts Mustafa Ahshoush, technical director of the national volleyball teams and an international lecturer certified by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), and Christian Garcia Rodriguez, a specialist in beach volleyball, who is of Spanish nationality.
The training extends daily from nine in the morning until five in the evening, with the participation of more than 30 participants, including 4 participants, most of whom are teachers of physical education and sports, whether they are self-employed or represent the various clubs of the League of the East: Amal Bouarfa, Nakhil Association of Oujda, Hilal Nador, Union Silwan, Najm Taourirt, and the Taourirt Volleyball Association, in addition to the organizing club, the Oasis Association.
The course aims to train coaches and develop their training skills based on modern training techniques and motivational methods, in addition to teaching playing strategies, including defensive and offensive plans, and enhancing scientific understanding of sports training.
The training was divided into two parts: the theoretical part, which includes providing theoretical lessons, lectures, and explanatory videos in the field of developing the capabilities of children and youth; As for the practical aspect, it was represented in a field training during which the two experts were keen to make the beneficiaries apply all the lessons and guidance they received on the ground, in the covered hall in Figig and on the beach volleyball court near the covered hall.
The Oasis Association has made sure to harness all its human and material capabilities, and to provide all sports equipment and didactic tools. This session received a great response from the participants, as they expressed their appreciation for the first two days of this special session.
