From Friday 11th to Sunday 13th October the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi will host the eighth Grand Slam season of the 2024 World Tour Judoben cinque months after the previous meeting in Astana (10-12 May). For the major circuit, this is the second event on the calendar in the new four-year Olympic period towards Los Angeles 2028, after the Grand Zagreb Prix which took place in mid-September. In this last phase of the post-Paris season many big names are absent to unplug and recharge their batteries after having carried out a long tour de force up to the event in cinque circles. So there’s room for those young and at second lines of many countries including Italy, which will be represented in Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi and cinque athletes currently excluded from the senior national team.
