Fluminense hosts Botafogo this Saturday (12/10), in a match valid for the second round of the Carioca Women’s Championship. The classic will be at the Marcelo Vieira Stadium, at 10am, and will be broadcast live on FluTV.

The Guerreiras do Fluzão are coming off a great debut, with the victory over Boavista by an elastic score of 10 to 1. The match, played in Laranjeiras last Saturday (05/10), featured two hat-tricks in the first half, from by tricolor strikers Annaysa and Geovana Alves, who scored the goals in the first half. In the second stage, Lurdinha, Kamilla, Naiane and Gislaine completed the rout.

This Friday morning (10/11), the team completed preparations for the clash under the command of coach Hoffmann Túlio, who showed confidence for the classic.

“It’s a classic against an opponent that has been difficult to face this year, but it’s in these games that we really start to aim for our main objective, which is to reach the final. We are very motivated, with a lot of desire and we hope to be able to translate everything the team has been training on the field”, said Hoffmann.

After the classic, Fluminense returns to the field on Wednesday (16/10), when they face Olaria, in the third round of the competition. The game will be at Laranjeiras Stadium, at 3pm, and will have gates open to the public.
