Fluminense faces Pérolas Negras, this Wednesday (23/10), in a match valid for the fifth round of the Carioca Women’s Championship. The game will be in Laranjeiras, at 3pm, with doors open to fans and live broadcast on FluTV.
In the classic played in the last round, against Flamengo, Tricolor was beaten 2-1, but maintained the isolated leadership of Group B. The person responsible for the Guerreiras do Fluzão goal was Verônica, who returned to the field after an ankle injury, entering in the final minutes to score a great goal and pull one back for Flu.
“I’m happy to be back and especially to be back scoring a goal and helping the team, which is always my goal. We know that every game is important from now on, so we are preparing and training hard to play a good game and win the three points”, said Verônica.
After this Wednesday’s clash, the Guerreiras do Fluzão return to the field on Saturday (26/10), when they face Resende, in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the competition. The match will be in Laranjeiras, at 3pm, with doors open.
