Sports Interactive, developer of Football Managerannounced this Thursday (10) the postponement of the game’s launch until March 2025. According to the producer, the decision was made after discussions with SEGA (game licensor) and FM’s development partners.
Sports Interactive justified the postponement with the need for “more time to deliver the best possible experience for this first phase of a new era of Football Manager“.
Also according to the developers, the challenge of producing this new version of FM is considered the biggest leap in quality in the series: “the biggest technical and visual advance in a generation”, stated the official note from Sports Interactive, which continued explaining the decision : “We simply cannot compromise this crucial stage in the history of Football Manager rushing the launch to November”, Several FM players have already purchased the 2025 version. Sports Interactive explained what the situation will be like for these “managers”: “For many of you who have already pre-ordered the game, we are very grateful for your trust and support. However, due to the delay, if you wish to request a refund, please contact your reseller,” the developer said.
Sports Interactive’s new prediction is that Football Manager 2025 be released in March 2025, with no set date yet.
