Marc Marquez is the 2024 Australian MotoGP champion. During the race at Phillip Island last weekend, Baby Alien overtook Jorge Martin from the leading position in the last three laps.
By successfully becoming Australian MotoGP champion, Marc Marquez prevented Martinator from having a margin of 25 points. Now, Jorge Martin is in the top position with 424 points, 20 points ahead of Bagnaia.

It is still very possible for Bagnaia to catch up with Martin in the 2024 MotoGP standings. This year’s iron horse primary class race still has three series remaining.
This weekend, the Thailand MotoGP will be held. After the Australian MotoGP, Bagnaia also asked about ‘help’ Marc Marquez.
“You helped me today,” Bagnaia said to Marc Marquez as reported by Mark.
“Yes, I took five points from Martin,” said Marc Marquez in response.
In MotoGP 2025, Marc Marquez will be Bagnaia’s teammate. The 31 year old rider will leave Gresini Racing to strengthen the factory Ducati team.
