Ricky Pearsall was shot on August 31. It happened when they tried to rob him in the middle of the street. The San Francisco 49ers player had to be treated after the bullet passed through his chest.
50 days later, Ricky Pearsall made his NFL debut against the Kansas City Chiefs, in the game of Week 7thus overcoming one of the most dramatic episodes of his life. The 24-year-old receiver now only wants to think about his promising career as a 49ers athlete.

Grateful and focused on his career
