A concept for individual application options, diversity and individuality
The new judo pentathlon is the DJB popular sports event for everyone, but especially for all those who are over the safari age (13-17 years).
The special thing about the newly planned pentathlon is that it can not only be carried out as an individual competition, like the popular safari, but also as a team competition. And that’s not enough…
The new pentathlon will include challenges that can, for example, enrich training in the dojo, the holiday camp program, the camp and much more in judo life on and off the judo mat. The clubs and organizers will have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of options, including lists of required materials, in order to put together the appropriate pentathlon challenge for the participants.
Now we need the judo community!
Now the judo community is invited to submit the best individual or team challenges in the five categories of fighting, strength, endurance, coordination/gymnastics and knowledge/creativity. We are also looking for creative ideas for the “honorary prizes”, which the participants can then receive. When submitting your suggestions, please keep the core target group of judoka between 13 and 17 years in mind.
The DJB is giving away 10 promotional boxes among all entries that will later be officially included in the program of the new judo pentathlon.
