On September 4th of this year, “France Football” magazine released the list of 30 finalists who will compete for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, in men’s and women’s football. Among the men’s finalists, Vinicius Júnior is the only Brazilian representative. However, in the women’s category, Brazil has three more athletes representing the country.
In addition to the Real Madrid player, who is one of the favorites for the Ballon d’Or, the other three representatives are: Arthur Elias (Corinthians/Seleção), Gabi Portinho (Corinthians) and Tarciane (Houston Dash).
The award ceremony takes place at the Théâtre du Châtelet, in Paris and, this year, it will be the first time in history that the award will be organized in partnership with UEFA.
