Governor Margarita González Saravia led the Meeting of Morelos Selected Teams of the Conade 2024 National Competition System, which brought together athletes, coaches and delegates who represented Morelos in the Conade Nationals, Popular National Games, National Indigenous Sports Meeting and Conade Paranationals, in its 2024 edition.
The meeting took place on the morning of this Saturday, October 12 at the Teopanzolco Cultural Center, where the first female Governor in Morelos presented awards to medalists of the Conade 2024 Paranationals, as well as their coaches.
In her message, Governor Margarita González Saravia instructed the head of the Institute of Sports and Physical Culture of the state of Morelos (Indem), Juan Felipe Domínguez Robles, to organize a forum with the participation of all athletes, to listen to their proposals and needs, from which the programs and projects to be carried out during the next six years will emerge.
The athletes expressed their gratitude to the Government of Margarita González Saravia for this approach and for being taken into account without any distinction; Likewise, they assumed the commitment to do their best to make Morelos “The land that unites” a cradle of champions.
Members of the Social Cabinet, local and federal deputies participated in the event; as well as representatives of the following sports disciplines: chess, open water, athletics, badminton, 5×5 basketball, 3×3 basketball, boxing, cycling, charrería, soccer, golf, handball, weightlifting, karate, associated wrestling, swimming, roller skating , rugby, squash, taekwondo, tennis, archery, triathlon, para-athletics, para-swimming, para-dance sports, popular boxing, popular soccer and popular martial arts.
