Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas.- The Ministry of Social Welfare actively participates in the Tamaulipas 2024 Fair, and together with the Institutes of Culture, Sports and Women, offers a wide variety of sports, recreational and cultural activities for all families in the state.

The Social Welfare Secretariat’s stand will be present every day of the fair, offering surprises, games and multiple activities for the whole family. In addition, information will be provided about the social programs offered by the agency, along with interactive and entertaining dynamics so that families can enjoy a pleasant moment.

At the Sports Institute stand, both conventional and adapted athletes will participate, who will show their talent and skills. During the days of the fair, exhibitions of various disciplines such as judo, fencing and taekwondo will be held, with the outstanding participation of athletes and coaches such as Martha Muñiz Rocha, María José Esqueda Velázquez and San Juanita Vázquez Urbina.

Likewise, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., children’s workshops will be held, and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., sports and recreational activities for all ages will be held, such as basketball competitions, foosball competitions, and special activities, including the running basketball exhibition.

In addition, there will be the presence of local athletes, who will demonstrate their skills in various disciplines, promoting sports and healthy coexistence among attendees.

At the Women’s Institute stand, from October 15 to 17, premarital talks will be offered from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. On October 17, a civil ceremony will be held for five marriages, which will be condoned by the Civil Registry, followed by a gift raffle among those present.

For its part, at the stand of the Tamaulipeco Institute for Culture and the Arts, on October 16 the “Victoria Community Symphonic Band” will be presented and on October 20 the “Folkloric Group of the House of Art” and the “Huapangueritos ”.

Finally, from October 15 to 17, art workshops will be offered for boys and girls, inviting them to participate in a morning tour of the fairgrounds, an activity that is organized in collaboration with schools.
