HBV 6 in pursuit | Heesche Badminton Association

The sixth team of the Heesche Badminton Association, consisting of Noa de Leijer, Suze Brugman, Jelle van Schaijk and Messi al Eido, makes an excellent debut in the senior competition. After transferring from youth, the young foursome immediately performed well in the seventh grade. After four games, the team is firmly in second place, behind BCG from Sint-Michielsgestel.

The opening match against leader BCG was lost 13-3. That was no shame, because BCG has been untouchable so far this season. The Gestel badminton players won all four of their matches with big scores and are firmly in the lead with 8 points.

But HBV 6 recovered well from that defeat. They won 11-5 against BCSV from Vucht and were then too strong for BV de Klapper from Schaijk: 13-3. Another great victory followed at the beginning of October when the team in Drunen was too strong for the local badminton club with a score of 12-4. With 6 points from 4 games, HBV 6 remains in the lead of the leader.

The next match is on October 30, when the still winless BV Sparrenburg from Rosmalen visits Heesch. A week later, on November 6, HBV 6 gets the chance for revenge against BCG. Then the leader will visit the sports hall ‘t Vijfeiken. A win is needed to keep the title chances alive. With the home advantage and the good form of the last few weeks, a stunt should be possible
