A 28-year-old, of Ukrainian origins and resident in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, experienced moments of panic when she realized that her ex-partner, a 44-year-old from the same city, was waiting for her outside her workplace. Despite the situation, the young woman managed to park her car and enter the premises, where she began her duty shift regularly. At that juncture, he informed his current partner of the ex’s unwanted presence. After finishing work, the woman and her new partner were chased by her ex, who tried several times to come alongside them and hit them, also trying to hinder them by cutting them off. During the chase, the man displayed a baseball bat, threatening the couple. The situation became increasingly dangerous, but the victim was quick to contact “112”. The Carabinieri of Casagiove and the Campania Regiment intervened and, upon arriving in Via Appia in Casagiove, blocked the attacker. Following the search, the 44-year-old was found in possession of two baseball bats, one of which had been used to intimidate the couple. The incident raised concerns about safety and domestic violence, leading authorities to take appropriate measures against threatening behavior.
