Hegyi came, saw and conquered

He had to pass for 622 days, and after two cruciate ligament tears and a torn Achilles tendon, his judo career was almost on the verge of ending. But now Stephan Hegyi (+100/SC Hakoah/W) is back. The 26-year-old Viennese won the heavyweight final at the Austrian State Championships in Feldkirchen (K) against the number one seeded defending champion Movli Borchashvilli (Allianz Kukla Galaxy Tigers/W) with Ippon and won the title in his first competition after a 20-month break .
