Bad day for the image of Spanish football. The racist insults and outbursts were not limited to a small group of fans against Lamine Yamal and Raphinha in the Bernabéu classic but also occurred in a Primera RFEF match. It happened on the occasion of a clash between the historic Hércules and Atlético B and in this case the victims were the players of the rojiblanco reserve team at the José Rico Pérez stadium.

The events occurred after forward Omar Janneh, born in Lleida but of Gambian origin, scored the goal in the 86th minute that gave the team led by Fernando Torres the victory. During the celebration, the visiting players suffered threats from fans of the Alicante club and objects were thrown, one of which hit the head of Jano Monserrate, who fell to the ground but was able to recover without problems as he did not suffer any injuries.

Some violent fans went to the front rows to reproach the Madrid fans for celebrating the goal after the victory and one of them even jumped over the perimeter fence and entered the field of play without coming into contact with any footballer. This was even reflected in the match minutes, where the racist insults to Omar, to whom they also made the monkey gesture from the stands, do not appear.

Unlike what happened at the Metropolitano with the throwing of lighters at Thibaut Courtois almost a month ago, on this occasion the match did not stop and continued to be played without any further notable incidents until its conclusion.
