Aquarius for Wout
“He wanted to start another project,” a clearly disappointed Vasseur continues. “At Cofidis he was guaranteed a leader. I’m not sure if this will be the case at Visma. But yes, it is a career choice. Maybe in a year or two Axel can say he made the right choice, or not : that he should have remained leader instead of going behind the bottles for Wout van Aert.”
Cofidis strengthened itself with the arrival of Dylan Teuns. The Belgian veteran comes from Israel-Premier Tech. “He was breathtaking again this year in the classics. He can compete with riders of the caliber of Mathieu van der Poel and we do not have that in our current team.
