The hockey players of HC Slovan Bratislava won Friday’s match of the 9th round of the Tipos extraliga on the ice of HK Nitra 6:3. “Belasí” scored twice in each part of the game, made up for the hesitation from Liptovský Mikuláš and moved to third place in the table. “Corgoni” recorded their third loss in a row and they are in sixth place.

The score changed for the first time after only 15 seconds, when Mitchell Hoelscher put the guests in the lead. In the opening five minutes, Nitra managed to turn the unfavorable situation around thanks to Brett Ritchie and Samuel Buček, but Haralds Egle scored an important equalizing goal in the 10th minute.

The same player was also the mastermind of the third accurate shot, when in the 26th minute he took advantage of the hesitation of Miloš Bubela and hung up uncompromisingly. In the middle of the match, Slovan already led by two goals after another loss of the puck behind Nitra’s own goal, Hoelscher succeeded in the end for the second time.

Tomáš Hrnek was able to dramatize the duel at the end of the middle part of the game, but the exclusion of home Mark Stach by the end of the match was decisive. In a five-minute power play, Richard Pánik prevailed and Samuel Takáč made it 6:3.
